Routine Servicing

Computers have a tendency to slow down and develop faults over time.  Regular servicing helps keep your computer in top shape, warding off any costly and time-consuming problems that could appear at a later date.  As such, Prompt PC strongly recommend that systems be serviced every 12 months.

What is a Prompt PC service?

Servicing will, amongst other things, include a full virus/spyware check, full system updates (latest drivers and patches will be applied), a system clean-up of redundant files, programs and processes which slow your machine, cleaning of internal components (which helps prevent the costly problem of hardware failure), and a full and thorough clean of your keyboard, monitor and tower.

At Prompt PC we pride ourselves on our speedy, efficient service, so our servicing usually sees a computer ready for next or even same-day collection from our workshop (a collection and returns service is also offered).  We can, of course, also service on-site within your business (typically servicing up to three computers simultaneously within a 5-6 hour period), which may prove to be a more suitable option for you.  Contact a member of the Prompt PC for queries or take us up on a free servicing consultation for further advice: 01782 313281.
