If you have the misfortune to get a virus in your computer, or even computer network, all is not lost. You may receive an email informing you that your system is infected; your computer may crash regularly or the virus may tell you itself that it is there. Prompt PC recommends immediately disconnecting your system from the rest of the network (pull out the network cable) and do not connect to the Internet. If at all possible turn the computer off until the virus is removed. If you have not previously had antivirus software running on your computer, then we recommend not to install any. Some viruses prevent themselves from being detected, lulling you into a false sense of security. Prompt PC will remove your hard drive from each computer and, with its own priority software, remove the virus from your system. Damaged system files will be replaced and a database of over 100,000 viruses will be checked to ensure that all traces of the virus are removed. If vital data has been lost, then Prompt PC can attempt to recover it, as per our Data Recovery Service. Prompt PC strongly recommends that all computer systems are covered by antivirus software.
