Prompt PC are expanding and are now looking for an apprentice technical support engineer to provide additional support for our valued customers. 

 

The successful candidate will be thoroughly trained, including Microsoft Accreditation, to ultimately become a fully qualified Field Engineer.  The apprentice will be trained to deal with all aspects of customer service, including:

 

Microsoft Desktop support issues

Microsoft Servers, including operating system, Exchange and SQL

Network cable installation & support

Various system backup packages

Various

Antivirus packages

 

A hard working, 'can do', 'nothing is too much' attitude is required for the position.  A full working knowledge of building PCs, installing operating systems and fault finding is the minimum requirement.  Additionally 5 GCSEs at grade C or above are required, including maths and English.

Starting initially on apprenticeship rates, salary will significantly increase once a proven ability and desire  to perform has been shown.
